· Make sure brake discs and brake pads are in good shape. Ask to pull of all the wheels so you can check the car thoroughly.
· Do a body check for any scratches or cracks. You should check the front spoiler, doors and side skirts, these suffer the most.
· Place the car on a bridge in the garage, inspect all bolds if they aren't loose, manually check every bold! (in particular the left side of the car where the front wheels are held up).
· When test driving the car ask for a long test-drive, please also take some short-bend corners, and listen and feel..
· While you are driving search an open road where you can test on speed. Put the car in fourth gear and accelerate from 1500rpm to 6500rpm, the car should accelerate cleanly without fuel cuts.
· Also try some heavy breakings, the car should stay steady on the road and shouldn't bend over to the left or to the right, wheels should also behave normally.
